We are very fortunate to have a stained glass piece hanging in our bathroom where I work. It was made by a retired elemenatary principal ...who does this now as his hobby. Iwent into the bathroom on a beautiful autumn day and saw the reflection of the leaves coming through this piece...it was so beautiful.

Beautiful. You know when I look at this, the first thing I think is ... that's courage. Actually being able to go into the bathroom at work, sketch and paint. I love the way the window looks too ... not quite as 'in your face' as the stained glass windows I remember from my childhood.

Hi Indigo, Thank you for your comments on my stained glass sketch--actually I took a picture of the scene on my way out of work after workking all day and then drew my sketch and painted it during the evening! It would take courage to do it during the day...I probably would be jobless if I had gone in and sketched and painted. Thanks again, Susan

Lovely colors and very soothing to look at! The stained glass artist must be very talented, too.

This is a really interesting prspective! I like that you showed a corner of he framed glass rather than the whole thing.
Beautiful colours, too.

Happy Halloween and have a gret weekend!

That makes a nice memory for you - the autumn leaves coming through the glass, not the bathroom!
